Female sexuality was, is and likely will remain a topic that endlessly fascinates and moves people. The conversation about it, the social and political commentary on it, the art it inspires, the reactions it stirs are all never ending. Female sexuality on a more subtle level, is simply life force manifest and in motion, and as such it is what invisibly and opaquely, yet potently “triggers” the collective energy to continue moving.

The modern woman enjoys the fruit of her sexual freedoms — and while a woman (in the West at least) has gained sexual freedoms, she is also left in ignorance about her sexuality. The sexual education that is given conventionally, is no sexual education at all. And so a woman, even the seemingly sexually liberated one, often fears facing her own sexuality. Rather she runs away from it, and in doing so, allows all all kinds of “smoke” to accumulate around her sexual centre which pushes her into confusion and potentially choices that directly harm her. And yet, if a woman is incapable of facing her sexuality, she will also have a difficulty facing her psyche & individuation process. Penetrating her spirituality becomes impossible. All of her life, whether she is conscious of it or not, will narrow down to avoiding herself as a woman. When so, very little will be achieved other than a feeling of self-hatred, misery and confusion.
