In a woman’s life, often comes a moment when she begins to contemplate on fierceness. When we speak of fierceness, we speak of any orientation or action towards cutting, separating, removing and even destroying.

Usually, women are initiated into this aspect of the Feminine as it dawns upon them to what degree they had been overextending themselves. The overextension, she realises, is not an expression of a genuine generosity, but rather has at its root fear. But in submitting to this fear, she commits a betrayal of herself. Her own person, the little girl within, is starving, while she is trying to take care of all the abandoned children of the world.

During this time, a woman may contemplate or seek to connect with the fierce or violent images of the Feminine. This is her way to internalise this aspect of herself.
